any breakfast ideas?

Oh yes! I love breakfast. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Here’s a few of my favorites:

  • Recently, I’ve been making a lot of mushroom and swiss omelettes. Just sear some mushrooms, add some eggs with a little milk, salt, and pepper. Then when the eggs are about 70% cooked I add the cheese.
  • Breakfast sandwich—kind of a given, but so much better than the trash at McDonalds (sorry, Mickey D fans). I like to use an english muffin, bacon, and cheese. Whatever kinds you want! It’s really delicious to add a fried egg instead of scrambled. You won’t have to worry about the egg bits falling out, just about all that gooey yolk that you can dip the sandwich in. YUM.
  • The best pancake recipe ever (plus many other world classics)  lies in this book: Saveur: The New Comfort Food http://www.amazon.com/Saveur-Comfort-Cooking-Around-World/dp/0811878015
  • Wanting to do a little extra work? If you go down my site, you will find a beautiful picture recipe for Lavender Vanilla Challah French Toast with Sugar Dipped Strawberries.
  • I’maddictedtosugarycereal. There, I said it. DON’T JUDGE ME!
  • For you health nuts (hey, I kinda am!) Diced up fruit with yogurt and MINT. Trust me, the mint makes it. It makes it feel really fresh, which will make you feel really good. Plus, it’ll help wake you up!

I think I could go for another hour or so about this, but those are a couple to start! Enjoy!
